Didn't Befwicks eventually move to West Erie Plaza ? I remembered going there many moons ago when I first moved to Erie.

My Dad used to be one of the owners of this plaza. I remember Lord Befwick had a barbecue turkey sandwich that was great. Great site!
ReplyDeleteI also remember The Paperback Bookstore in the plaza.
ReplyDeleteWhat was the name of the bar to the right of Befwicks? Was it Altadonna's? I was there just once.
ReplyDeleteI used to work at the Fabric Shop part time when I was attending Gannon College in the 70's. Mr. Lyman Cohen was the owner. I have very fond memories of working there with his family.
ReplyDeleteYes, Altadonnas was there. I remember The Snowmen playing there! Loved their music!
