Gannon College Theatre/Playhouse
The old Gannon College Theatre, shown on the right, was across the street from the Zurn Science Center on West 7th Street in Erie. The old Pennsylvania Bureau of Employment was housed in the building on the left.
The landscape looks much different today. The buildings were eventually razed for green space and a parking lot for the campus of Gannon University.
Judging from the cars, and the Erie Playhouse sign on the theatre building, this is well before Gannon extended much beyond the corner of 6th and Peach. This would be long before the present-day Zurn Science Center and present-day Nash Library.
